This compact lilac blooms later than others, extending the season with purple buds that reveal clusters of lavender-blue flowers. Very Fragrant, and very attractive to butterflies and bees. Disease and deer resistant and low maintenance. Foliage is burgundy-tinged in fall. Hardy, yet performs in southern regions, with excellent powdery mildew resistance. Great for border accent or mass planting.
